Importance and benefits of psychology



  • Psychology is the study of cognitions, emotions, and behavior. 
  • The study of psychology has five basic goals

  1. Describe 
  2. Explain 
  3. Predict 
  4. Control 
  5. Improve

  • A person has to work according to the four points mentioned above while working in daily life.
  • Example: A child asking a teacher a question at school. There the teacher has to answer the above four points
  • The four goals of psychology are to describe, explain, predict, and control a person's behavior and mental processes in general terms.
  • Each of these goals represents a different focus that psychologists can take when studying a phenomenon.
  • As a whole, psychology can be defined as a branch of medicine related to the study of mind and behavior, while the study of psychology has spread to wider fields. There are key theories that are important to study.
  • Here the mental (cognitive) process of man, mental problems related to behavior and mental diseases are studied, researched, and treatment methods are identified through scientific methods.
  • It is the application of knowledge to understand health issues, relationships, employment, education, etc. Psychology will help you while making decisions, stress, and time management. It is a subject that includes humanities and natural sciences. In everyday life, Psychology is constructive.
